Carlos has been a medical professional in the sports performance/strength training industry for over 25 years. He has been a licensed clinician for almost 20 years, treating patients in an outpatient/sports medicine setting and gaining experience treating a number of different people. He has completed numerous certifications in his career and has attended thousands of hours of continuing education. He has developed his own business, Movement for Change, LLC. Movement for change is about assessing movement and programming sustainable,  purposeful strength and conditioning and movement skills. It is about empowering you to master movement over time. Movement for change is about moving away from “working out” to treating your session as practice or learning drills.

Movement for Change is the ONLY performance/training company that knows how to deal with pain-free performance. We have been doing it the longest in Houston. We also have a vast network of doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, and other medical professionals who we refer to and refer to us!

His programming is evidenced led by attending and keeping up with current literature/courses and individually tailored to YOUR individual needs and not cookie cutter, random, or “work out of the day.” Training safety is our priority. Assessment and programming to meet your needs and goals. Science without guessing. He is also one of the only hardstyle kettlebell instructors as well as kettlebell sport instructors in the Houston area.

He continues to seek out education from the best mentors in the fields of physical therapy, sports medicine, performance, mobility, strength and conditioning.  He has been a featured lecturer at the Houston Marathon and at the Texas High School Coach’s clinic for Perform Better. Carlos assists teaching various continuing education courses for physical therapists, and has been instrumental in bringing continuing education courses to the Houston area.
