I grew up in a small town in East Texas., and throughout my adolescence I was often the target of bullying as a result of my small stature. But when I was 14, I made the decision to start working out and lifting weights to put on muscle, and further defend myself from antagonists. After graduating High School, I went on to join the Marine Corps where I was able to further expand my fitness exposure and it became truly evident to me that regardless of my small stature – I was capable of so much more then I my mind ever allowed me to realize. This opened up so many possibilities and lifelong interests.
While in the Marine Corp, I became interested in jiu-jitsu and martial arts, and later these became the catapults for bringing me into a profession in the fitness industry in 2008. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in furthering my education and knowledge of how to transform not only client’s bodies, but their minds. I have my NASM certifications specialized in Personal Training and Muscle Imbalances/Corrective Exercise Systems, Level 1 Crossfit Certification, Level 1 USA Olympic Weight Lifting Certification, Fitness Nutrition Certification, Crossfit Mobility Certification, and more to come. For the last 4 years in conjunction with my personal training business, I’ve coached Crossfit at one of the largest boxes in Houston.
Combining this professional experience with my own personal interests in surfing, rock climbing, Olympic weight lifting, skateboarding, paddle boarding, biking, swimming, and martial arts – I’ve created an incredibly, impactful style of training that delivers exponential results. No two workouts ever look the same, because of the constant variation and muscle confusion that my high intensity workouts deliver. I individualize the training to every client inclusive of dedicating attention to muscle imbalances that occur from everyday life routines. This dramatically increases their optimal performance and results. My personal belief is that ANYONE – regardless of lifestyle, profession, background, or busyness, should be able to achieve their fitness goals if they are intentful and dedicated to the process.
Would love to hear how I can help you exceed your fitness goals.
